Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid
Brief Introduction:
The chemical name of Tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) is 3α,7β-dihydroxy-5β-cholan-24-oic acid n-(2-sulfoethyl)amide, it is a conjugated bile acid which formed by dehydration condensation between the carboxyl group of ursodeoxycholic acid and the amino group of taurine.
Solubility:
Soluble in methanol, ethanol; insoluble in acetone and water.

Efficacy & Application:
Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid(TUDCA) is the main bile acid in bear bile, which has antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory and gallstone-dissolving effects.
It is mainly used clinically for the treatment of gallbladder cholesterol stones, primary sclerosing cholangitis, primary biliary cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis C virus, etc.
