Sodium hyaluronate, which is a physiologically active substance widely present in the human body. It is a high molecular weight linear mucopolysaccharide formed by the polymerization of disaccharide units composed of glucuronic acid and acetylhexosamine , and its molecular weight is 1 million. It forms a thick viscoelastic solution in water with physiological pH and ionic strength. Its molecular shape is variable, so it can also pass through with a thinner injection needle. The non-inflammatory substance extracted from sodium hyaluronate is called Healon. When 10 mg of this product is dissolved in 1 ml of normal saline, its viscosity can be 200,000 times higher than that of aqueous humor or normal saline. The protein content of Healon is less than 0.5%, and it is a sterile high-purity solution.

1) For dry eye syndrome.
2) Widely used in the high-end cosmetics industry.
