Sermaglutide
Brief Introduction:
Semaglutide, also called sermaglutide, which is a GLP-1 receptor agonist developed by Novo Nordisk. This drug can increase glucose metabolism by stimulating pancreatic beta cells to secrete insulin; and inhibit pancreatic alpha cells from secreting glucagon to reduce fasting and postprandial blood sugar.
In addition, it can also reduce food intake by reducing appetite and slowing digestion in the stomach, ultimately reducing body fat and facilitating weight loss.
