Sebacic Acid
Brief Introduction:
Sebacic acid, also known as decanedioic acid, n-decanedioic acid, 1,10-decanedioic acid or 1,8-octanedicarboxylic acid. The molecular formula of sebacic acid is C10H18O4, and the chemical structural formula is HOOC(CH2)8COOH.
Sebacic acid is an aliphatic dibasic acid that exists in flue-cured tobacco leaves, burley tobacco leaves, and oriental tobacco leaves. Slightly soluble in water, hardly soluble in benzene, petroleum ether, carbon tetrachloride, easily soluble in ethanol and ether.
Sebacic acid is prepared from natural castor oil or adipic acid monoester as raw materials, mainly used to prepare sebacic acid esters, and its esters have a wide range of uses.

Packaging, Storage & Transportation:
Sebacic acid is packed in sacks or woven bags lined with plastic bags, with a net weight of 25kg per bag, usually 625kg(25 bags) is packed on one pallet. Preserved in a cool and ventilated place, fire-proof and moisture-proof. Stored separately from strong acids, anhydrides, strong bases and strong oxides. Kept away from fire and heat sources, and stored & transported according to regulations for flammable products.
Shelf Life:
24 months if stored under above mentioned conditions.
