Brief Introduction:
p-Hydroxyanisole, also known as 4-methoxyphenol, hydroquinone monomethyl ether or p-methoxyphenol, the CAS number is: 150-76-5, the molecular formula is: C7H8O2, the appearance is white flake crystals or white needle crystals. Easily soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene, ethyl acetate, and slightly soluble in water.
It is mainly used as polymerization inhibitor of vinyl plastic monomers, UV inhibitors, dye intermediates, and used in the synthesis of edible oils and cosmetics antioxidant BHA, etc.
