Brief Introduction:
Medetomidine hydrochloride, the CAS number is 86347-15-1, the molecular formula is C13H17ClN2, the molecular weight is 236.74, the melting point is between 164°C and 166°C.
Medetomidine hydrochloride is an α2-adrenergic receptor agonist, mainly used for sedation, analgesia and anesthesia assistance in the veterinary field.
Mechanism of Action:
By activating central and peripheral α2-adrenergic receptors, inhibiting sympathetic nerve activity, it produces:
