Levamisole Hydrochloride has a good effect on roundworms, hookworms, pinworms and strongyloidiasis stercoralis. Since this product is more effective in a single dose, it is suitable for group treatment.
It is more active than diethylcarbamazine against adult worms and microfilariae of Onchocerciasis bancrofti, Malay filariasis and Onchocerciasis, but its long-term efficacy is relatively poor.
