Brief Introduction:
Homosalate, chemical formula: C16H22O3, also known as trimethylcyclohexyl salicylate and trimethyl salicylate, which is a colorless and transparent liquid chemical substance, insoluble in water, and can absorb ultraviolet rays in the UVB295-315 band, mainly used in UVB sunscreens.

Applications:
Homosalate is an ultraviolet UVB sunscreen agent, a colorless transparent liquid, insoluble in water, can absorb ultraviolet rays in the UV-B 295-315nm band, and is suitable for water-resistant formulas. This product has a property of enhancing SPF, which can effectively protect the skin and reduce the damage caused by long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays.
Homosalate can be well used in sun care, body & face care and color cosmetics.
Product Formula Recommended Dosage:
Maximum additive amount: 10%(EU, JP); 15%(US, AUS).
Packaging:
200kg net plastic drum or IBC drum.
Storage Conditions:
Store in well-closed containers in a dry and ventilated warehouse at room temperature, avoid direct sunlight, keep away from fire sources; and keep away from strong oxidants, flammable and explosive products.
Shelf Life:
24 months if stored under above mentioned conditions.
