Etocrilene
Brief Introduction:
Ethyl 2-cyano-3,3-diphenylacrylate, also known as UV-3035, which is a cyanoacrylate ultraviolet absorber, it can absorb ultraviolet light at 280-320 nm, with an absorption peak at 306 nm. There is no phenolic hydroxyl group in the molecular structure, which has excellent chemical stability, and has excellent coating resin compatibility through the change of ester group structure. Suitable for polystyrene, styrene copolymers, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, varnish coatings, gel coatings, container coatings, acrylic and vinyl adhesives, especially suitable for acrylic resins, polyurethane resins, cellulosic resins. It is especially used in the top coat of paint to improve the durability of the coating.
Ultraviolet absorber UV-3035 has good solubility in MEK, and MEK has good compatibility with acrylic resin. When used together with light stabilizers, the synergistic effect is remarkable. The general recommended dosage is between 0.1% and 0.5%.
