Chymotrypsin
Brief Introduction:
Chymotrypsin a kind of proteolytic enzyme extracted from bovine pancreas or porcine pancreas, which is white or almost white lyophilized powder. It is odourless, soluble in water, and will be rapidly inactivated in aqueous solution.
It contains NLT 1000 USP Chymotrypsin Units/mg, calculated on the anhydrous basis, and NLT 90.0% and NMT 110.0% of the labeled potency, as determined by the Assay.
Preparation Method of Chymotrypsin:
Generally speaking, Chymotrypsin can be extracted from animal stomach tissue. The specific preparation method includes drying, crushing, soaking, suspending, filtering and concentrating, and finally obtaining pure Chymotrypsin through protein separation and purification technology.
