Cholesterol
Brief Introduction:
Cholesterol is a derivative of cyclopentanepolyhydrophenanthrene with the chemical formula C27H46O. It is a white or light yellow crystal.
Cholesterol is the main steroid compound in mammals and plays an important role in basic cellular life activities.
Solubility:
Soluble in ether, acetone, chloroform, dioxane, ethyl acetate and vegetable oil, slightly soluble in alcohol, and hardly soluble in water.
