Food Grade Chitosan Oligosaccharide
Brief Introduction:
Chitosan oligosaccharide is a low molecular weight product obtained by degradation of chitosan through special bio-enzyme technology, chemical degradation or microwave degradation. Its degree of polymerization is between 2 and 20, and its molecular weight is not more than 3200Da.
Chitosan oligosaccharide has the characteristics of good water solubility, high biological activity, and easy absorption and utilization by organisms. It is the only positively charged cationic alkaline amino oligosaccharide in nature, mainly derived from chitosan in shrimp and crab shells. There are also vegetarian sources, including mushrooms and Aspergillus niger.
Preparation Method:
The preparation method of chitosan oligosaccharide is mainly through advanced biological enzymatic hydrolysis, which can effectively depolymerize chitosan into low molecular weight chitosan oligosaccharide.
Features of our Chitosan Oligosaccharide:
♔ Low Molecular Weight:
Chitosan oligosaccharide has a low molecular weight, usually less than 3500, which makes them more water-soluble and bioactive;
♔ Good Water Solubility:
Chitosan oligosaccharide is completely soluble in water, but insoluble in organic solvents such as acetone, butanol, and ethanol;
♔ High Biological Activity:
Chitosan oligosaccharide has high biological activity, can promote metabolism, regulate the immune system, inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, protect the liver, etc.;
♔ Easy to Absorb:
Chitosan oligosaccharide has an absorption rate of up to 99%, which can be quickly absorbed and utilized by the human body;
♔ Purely Natural, Radiation-Free, Pollution-Free, and Additive-Free:
Chitosan oligosaccharide is prepared by biological enzymatic hydrolysis, does not contain any chemical additives, and has pure natural characteristics.
