5-deazaflavin
Brief Introduction:
5-Deazaflavin is an analog of coenzyme F420, it is similar in structure to flavin, but its properties are quite different. Studies have found that 5-deazaflavin can produce 5-deazaflavin free radicals with high activity and low potential in the presence of light excitation and electron donors (such as alcohols, amines, etc.). 5-Deazoflavin is also a very effective photosensitizer and is used in research on solar photolysis of water.
