Brief Introduction:
5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride, also known as 5-Amino-4-ketovaleric acid hydrochloride and 5-ALA HCL, is white or light yellow powder, hygroscopic and irritating, and relatively sensitive to light.
5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride is soluble in water, ethanol, very slightly soluble in ethyl acetate, the molecular formula is C5H10ClNO3, and the molecular weight is 167.59.

Applications of our 5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride:
5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. It has certain applications in organic synthetic chemistry, and it can be used for the structural modification and synthesis of anti-tumor drug molecules and bioactive molecules. For example, it is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of heme in the body and a precursor for the synthesis of the organic molecule tetrapyrrole.
5-Aminolevulinic acid hydrochloride can also be used in biochemical research and can also be used as a substrate for 5-aminolevonate dehydrogenase.
