It is a reagent used to synthesize tacrine-huperzine hybrid acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.
Characteristics:
1-Amino-2-cyano-1-cyclopentene is a colourless liquid with a pungent odour similar to ammonia. It is volatile at room temperature and soluble in many organic solvents such as ethanol, ether and alkanes.
Preparation Method:
The preparation method of 1-amino-2-cyano-1-cyclopentene is mainly obtained by chemical synthesis. One common method is to react cyclohexene and hydrogen cyanide in the presence of a catalyst to produce it.
